Distinctive Details Make a Home Extraordinary
As we look ahead to a new season, and begin to emerge from the cozy warmth of indoors, it’s the perfect time to reimagine your home. This can mean embarking on a custom home or it could be freshening up your everyday living spaces. A few examples we talked about this month - a full makeover of the entire first floor including the kitchen with the addition of both a pantry and window, which eliminates sound transmission. Lastly, we are highlighting the early stages of a primary bath that will receive a complete renovation.
At RRBuilders, our unique phased approach is ingrained in everything we do. It starts with pre-construction and then the process continues with design schematics, estimates, and regulatory approval. Our expertise encompasses all critical areas of custom home building. We partner with the homeowner, architect and interior designer as a team to ensure your expectations are not only met - they are exceeded.
A Major first Floor Renovation
This 1907 Victorian needed a better flow. The updated kitchen with custom millwork, quartered and rift sawn white oak, floating shelves and a large island is ideal to accommodate daily family life and entertaining. The new pantry with barn style sliding doors and ample storage serves the kitchen and dining room. To eliminate sound transmission from the kitchen to the open second floor hall, a glass and steel window was added, which allows natural light to flood the interior stairway.
