The RR Builders custom home of our very own Richard Rosano was featured in the September/October issue of Connecticut Magazine. Richard pulled from his experience with building luxury homes for over 20 years, as inspiration and motivation to create this dream family home.
One of the most important and fun factors in building a house is making it a home. At RR Builders, we find that for many clients, the ultimate goal of building a custom home or renovation is to create a home that accommodates day to day family living and entertaining. This was true for Richard as well.
When building his own home Richard saw the value in implementing the latest technology and innovative design elements. The RR Builders team worked with talented architects and designers and utilized cutting edge building techniques to create a family home to be enjoyed for many years to come.
In this home, the focus was on carving out and maximizing key areas to provide functional, enjoyable, and usable spaces for every member of the family.

Specialty rooms like the dedicated theater, gym, and billiard room add to the fun factor.
Always important are exterior spaces and this home does not disappoint. With multiple exterior environments for year-round use, including a pool with spa, fire pit, bbq and dining area, and lounge area with covered loggia.
The experience of acting as "client" continues to be helpful when Richard is working with the design/build team for RR Builders clients. Richard approaches each project holistically, as one part of the larger design/build concept team made up of the Architect, Builder, and Interior and Landscape Designers. This mindset and way of operating supports successful, on-time, and on-budget projects. The end-result is a happy client with a lifestyle-centric home that they can enjoy and be proud of!
