Follow RRBuilders – “Start To Finish”

RRBuilders is excited to have you follow us on a new renovation project. Each home has its own unique details. For this home, we will be discussing the various phases of the job in each blog. This Redding, CT home renovation is truly a work in progress.

This will be a multi-phase project, starting in 2021 and to be completed in 2022. The first step was our pre-construction process, working closely with Alice Black Interiors for architecture/interiors and Wesley Stout Associates for landscape design. After budgets and timelines were established, we moved onto demolition within the existing home. The complete renovation will eventually include a new kitchen, new mudroom, new addition of a covered terrace with open air deck above serving the 2nd floor, existing barn conversion, new pool and cabana, and many fun interior and exterior details.

Let’s begin …….On your mark, get set, BUILD!

Demolition – A Good Kind of Mess

We begin this renovation with the demo phase, which includes removal of hardwood flooring, removal of an existing three sided fireplace/massive chimney, removing misc walls, ceilings, interior doors, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.

The start of the project is exciting as we begin to make-way for new rooms and areas that will be enjoyed by many. Check back next month for updates and to follow our progress!

If you know someone who is interested in renovating their existing home or building a new one in CT, NY, NJ, or south FL, please pass along our contact information.
